Celebrating Volunteer Week Hawaii

April 11, 9:00pm - 12:00pm
Mānoa Campus, St. John Plant Science Laboratory Add to Calendar

Join us as we clear around native Hawaiian and exotic plants in the Botany Garden. We will hand-pull weeds, rake and pile plant debris, and plant a few new additions to the space. Discussion about plants is encouraged while we work! Gloves, gardening tools, and lunch will be provided for those who sign-up by April 10th. Volunteers should come dressed to sweat and get dirty. Long sleeves and covered shoes are required. Be prepared for exposure to sun, dirt, and wildlife (mostly mosquitoes). All ages welcome. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
