Abstract:
This seminar will include i) a discussion of the cultural and historical significance of rainbows in Hawaii, ii) an overview of the science behind rainbow phenomenon, iii) What makes Hawaii the best place in the world for observing rainbows, and iv) chasing rainbows: a visual tour of the variety of rainbow manifestations.
