East-West Center Scholarships, Fellowships and Affiliate Programs

East-West Center (EWC) scholarships, fellowships and affiliate programs provide funding and affordable housing for graduate students from over 40 countries, Hawaii, and across the U.S. to pursue academic degrees at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

Open to current and prospective UH Manoa students, EWC Education Programs are designed to foster a shared sense of community and develop the leadership skills and Asia Pacific regional literacy needed for cooperation and community building among nations. EWC students live in residence at the Center, adjacent to the UH Manoa campus.
