Managing Microaggressions

The Graduate Student Organization is sponsoring a workshop on how to manage microagressions by Amrita Mallik. Please join us for this virtual event on October 12, 2020 from 3-5 p.m. HST.
This workshop is designed to help you understand what microaggressions are, how microaggressions can threaten our departmental relationships and cultures, and what you can do to respond and communicate more effectively to help create a working and learning environment where everyone is valued, included and supported. Amrita Mallik currently serves as the first Campus Climate Program Officer for the University of Hawaii at Manoa where she focuses on initiatives to foster and support a diverse, inclusive and engaged campus environment.
