NDPTC is excited to welcome Professor Judith Stilgenbauer, ASLA, as the speaker for the August 2021 NDPTC Virtual Third Thursday: South Shore Promenade and Coastal Open Space Network: Resilience and Connectivity by Design. Judith Stilgenbauer, ASLA, is a professor of landscape architecture and urban design at the University of Hawaii at Manoa School of Architecture, where she serves as the founding Director of the Master of Landscape Architecture Program. Professor Stilgenbauer's creative work in teaching and applied research focuses on the role of process, landscape performance, and placemaking in ecological urbanism and public open space design across diverse spatial and temporal scales. Her recent design research has focused on urban land-water relationships and adaptive, nature-based coastal resilience design.
