The Evolution of Hanafuda Na Pua Hawaii

Learn how the ancient Japanese card game of Hanafuda crossed the Pacific to Hawaii…and how it morphed into a local game with native Hawaiian plants instead of Japanese flowers. Sensei Alyson Kimura, Sensei Phyl Toma, and their young assistant Blaise Huh join storyteller and founder of Hanafuda Hawaii, Helen Nakano to edify, motivate and celebrate Na Pua Hawaii. Created to bring fun and challenge to keiki, ages 6, to kupuna, ages 96+, alike.
