UH President Finalist - Dr. Julian Vasquez Heilig

The University of Hawaiʻi Board of Regents has announced Dr. Julian Vasquez Heilig as one of the finalists for the next president of the UH system. Dr. Julian Vasquez Heilig is the Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs at Western Michigan University. He previously served as Dean of the College of Education at the University of Kentucky and has extensive experience in leadership, fundraising, and educational innovation. He holds a PhD and master’s degrees from Stanford University and additional degrees from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor.
