9/11 Day of Service - Keʻehi Lagoon Memorial Park

The Office of Civic and Community Engagement and Kapiʻolani Community College Service and Sustainability Learning Program along with our funding partners, the 9/11 Day.org, Americorps, and LEAD California; and our community partners will be hosting two days of remembrance through service at the Ke'ehi Lagoon Memorial State Park (9/13) and the Diamond Head State Monument (9/20). Volunteers will be planting native species in honor of the 441 first responders who lost their lives at Ground Zero. Transportation is available from campus.
