October 13, 9:00am - 1:00pmMānoa Campus, Kuykendall 106

The Center on Disability Studies (CDS) and the OFDAS Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) have partnered to create a sensory room at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa (UHM), located in Kuykendall Hall 106. Sensory rooms—growing in popularity across schools, hospitals, and community centers—offer calming, controlled environments designed to support self-regulation and stress relief.
The room is open to faculty and staff for walk-in use on designated Mondays. Guided tours for classes are available by reservation for all faculty, instructors, and teaching assistants.
