Representatives from the United States Army Transportation Command (ARTRANS) at Scott AFB, IL and Schofield Barracks, HI will be holding an Information Session at the Campus Center, Room 308, from 9-11am.

Featured Speaker UHM Alumnus Jake Simpson
Jake E. Simpson graduated from Mililani High School in 2019 and earned a Bachelor
of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting and Finance in Spring 2023 from the
University of Hawaii at Manoa. After being recruited by United States Army
Transportation (ARTRANS), Mr. Simpson enrolled in the Army Civilian Career
Management Activity (ACCMA) Fellows Program from July 2023 – July 2024 at Fort
Gregg-Adams, Virginia.
Mr. Simpson currently functions as a Traffic Management Specialist within the Ocean
Cargo Clearance Authority (OCCA) of the 599 th Transportation Brigade, managing the
deployment and distribution of DoD-sponsored cargo via commercial liner. Since
joining the 599th Transportation Brigade, Mr. Simpson has successfully coordinated a
plethora of military movements and exercises within the Indo-Pacific region, leading
to further recognition amongst ARTRANS leadership including a Warrior of the Week
nomination on 17-MAR-2025.
