Storytelling for 3-D Animation: Inspiration. What do you need to make an animated film? Inspirational storytelling is a key ingredient. Kevin Johnson, story artist and animator from Sony Imageworks will talk about story telling for 3-D Animation from the focus of character development. He wrote and directed the Sony short, "Early Bloomer" and worked on "The ChubbChubbs!", winner of the 2002 Oscar for best animated short. Some of his other film credits include: "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," "Stuart Little 2" and "Iron Giant." This lecture is free and open to the public.
