E `Imi Pono (Best Practices) in Substance Abuse Treatment Conference

Substance Abuse Counselors and Criminal Justice Professionals will be meeting in Hilo for "Best Practices in Substance Abuse Treatments" conference on July 17-21.
Topics will include Adolescent and Adult Relapse Prevention, Girls and Women in the Criminal Justice System, Adolescents and Adults with Co-occurring Disorders, and Native Hawaiian Approaches to Substance Abuse. Internationally renowned presenters will be Terence Gorski, Stephanie Covington, Dennis Daley, and Pualani Kanakaole Kanahele. This conference is sponsored by Hawai'i Community College Substance Abuse Counseling and Administration of Justice Programs and the Office of Continuing Education and Training.
