By Caryl Churchill; Directed by Lurana Donnels O'Malley. A challenging yet engaging play with live music by Sean T. C. O'Malley to the playwright's lyrics. This provocative production juxtaposes two eras, with scenes from the English witch-hunts of the 1650s and modern songs in the style of 1950s American pop music. One of the leading playwrights of our day, Churchill examines themes of women's rigidly defined roles in society.
