Japanese Embroidery Lecture

"Painting with Threads: Maintaining a Tradition" by Willa Tanabe, UHM professor of Japanese art history. This lecture is part of the special events held in conjunction with the exhibition Painting with Threads: The Art of Japanese Embroidery at the UH Art Gallery. The exhibition runs from Jan. 15 through Feb. 17.
The exhibition catalogue, which features an essay by Tanabe, will be available for $15.
