UH Day at the State Capitol
January 19, 10:00am - 3:00pmState Capitol
Alumni and friends of the University of Hawaii are invited to help us “Share the Pride” by attending UH Day 2007 at the State Capitol.
The event showcases the excellence and diversity of the University of Hawaii system and involves faculty, staff and students from all 10 campuses.
Exciting exhibits, such as a steel bridge and glass blowing demonstrations, food sampling, presentations by university experts and live performances of dance and music will all be a part of the day’s festivities.
UH Day allows lawmakers as well as the general public to learn more about how the university is answering the challenges of expanding and diversifying our economy and supporting our communities.
In 2007, UH Day holds additional significance as the university launches the celebration of 100 years of higher education in Hawaii. We encourage your participation in UH Day and we invite you to join our Centennial celebration.
