Uzma Aslam Khan
Uzma Khan is the author of the novel, The Story of Noble Rot (Penguin India, 2001), which received critical acclaim in Pakistan and India. Her second novel, Trespassing (HarperCollins UK, 2003, Henry Holt USA, 2004), was short-listed for the Commonwealth Prize (Eurasia region) in 2003. It has been published in eighteen countries and translated in thirteen languages. Her third novel, The Anatomy of God, is currently under consideration by publishers around the world.
All three of her novels have strong women protagonists growing up in a politically and ecologically torn Pakistan.
