"Life After Asian Studies: Diplomatic Corps, NGO's, and the Careers Outside Academe" Does your Asian Studies degree prepare you for a life outside academe? Professor Kenneth Quinones the Andrews Chair Visiting Scholar in Asiann Studies and currently the Director of Global Studies and Professor of Korean Studies at Akita International University in Japan will speak of life outside of academe. Professor Quinones has worked for the Foreign Service as well as in humanitarian organizations and published extensively on US-Korea relations.
