The Race/Gender Effects of Hurricane Katrina

Join us for a brown bag event featuring Avis Jones-DeWeever, from the Institute for Women's Policy Research (IWPR). One year after Hurricane Katrina, women are even further behind. Dr. Jones-DeWeever will discuss both short and long term challenges faced by women impacted by Katrina. She will also present policy recommendations.
