2007 SWE Symposium in Engineering

The UH Collegiate Section of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), together with the collegiate sections of the Institute of Electronic Engineers (IEEE), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME), is hosting the 2007 SWE Symposium in Engineering on Saturday, April 7th, 2007. The goal of the symposium, "Launching Your Future in Engineering", is to offer opportunities for college and high school students to explore educational and career paths in science and engineering fields. The event will provide various workshops and activities presented by national and local guest speakers from many companies and engineering organizations. It is a great opportunity for networking with professionals from the industry. The symposium will be offered to state-wide students in the UH system and high schools.
