World Quest

The Pacific and Asian Affairs Council’s Community College WorldQuest Competition will be held Fri., April 13, from 1:30–4 p.m. in the Honolulu Community College Kapalama Media Conference Center. Students from University of Hawaii Community Colleges across the state will take an international IQ challenge. Members of the first, second and third place teams will each receive prizes valued at $100, $50 and $25 respectively.
There is no fee to participate. The deadline to register is March 23. The public is welcome to observe. Contact Tandy Awaya at 944-7784 or paac@paachawaii.org.
Academic WorldQuest is an exciting game that challenges your knowledge of the world. Participants will answer questions on the following topics: Famous International Women (past and present), Current Events in Asia and the Pacific, Geography of Africa, and history related to World Religions, and Nationalism and Imperialism.
This competition is open to all University of Hawai'i Community College students. Teams of one-four players from the same school may enter. There is no limit on the number of teams that can enter from one school.

PAAC is a private, non-profit organization that serves as the World Affairs Council for the State of Hawai'i.
