Come to the UH Manoa Music Department & check out the exciting programs that UH Manoa has to offer:
American Studies, Asian Studies, Ethnomusicology, Ethnobotany Hawaiian Studies, Hawaiian Language, Pacific Island Studies.
Meet with program coordinators, participate in activities and take a campus tour!
The schedule will be:
8:00 - 8:30 Arrive at the UH Music Dept. & check-in
8:45 Orientation
9:00 - 9:45 Performance in Orvis (koto, Hawaiian chorus & Hawaiian Ensemble)
10:00 - 10:30 Performance in BBS Amphitheatre (Gamelan, kulintang & hula)
10:30 -11:30 Visit the College Career tables in the Bamboo Courtyard
11:30 – 12:00 Lunchtime (BYOB - bring your own bento)
12:00 – 1:30 Go on the campus Ethnobotany walk to Moore Hall, St. Johns Hall, EWC Gallery and Hawaiian Studies
1:30 – 2:00 Return to the Music Dept. for farewell & board buses!
