Brown Bag Lunch Lecture Series sponsored by The Historic Preservation Program in the American Studies Department at the University of Hawaii Manoa, the Historic Hawaii Foundation, and, the Friends of Iolani Palace. This year's theme is "Memories and Places of Significance to Japanese Americans in Hawaii." The first lecture entitled, "Japanese Temples in Hawaii: Documenting a Local Heritage," is presented by speaker Lorraine Minatoishi-Palumbo.
