Brown Bag Lunch Lecture Series sponsored by The Historic Preservation Program in the American Studies Department at the University of Hawaii Manoa, the Historic Hawaii Foundation, and, the Friends of Iolani Palace. This year's theme is "Memories and Places of Significance to Japanese Americans in Hawaii." The second lecture, entitled "Dark Clouds Over Paradise: Preserving the History of World War II Confinement Camps in Hawaii," is presented by speakers Brian Niiya, Jane Kurahara and Donald Amano.
