Tech Integration Series - Student Response Systems: TurningPoint
February 15, 10:00am - 11:30amHonolulu Campus, 7-421
This workshop gives an overview of Student Response Systems and how instructors can use them to gauge student learning LIVE within the classroom instantaneously. This workshop focuses on the TurningPoint system provided by Turning Technologies. Student Response Systems keep students involved and engaged in class and are invaluable course assessment tools that help instructors ensure that their SLOs are met.
To utilize the Student Response System instructors must use MS PowerPoint to deliver course lectures as SRS are built to be fully integrated with MS PowerPoint. Workshop attendees will utilize TurningPoint to develop their own interactive SRS enabled PowerPoint lecture and will take it with them to use in their own classroom.
