31st Great Hawaiian Sandcastle Esquisse

*Theme: If Architects Ruled the World…

What to do: Put together a team (or teams) of up to 6 members and email confirmation to aias@hawaii.edu. Larger teams will be allowed but may be disqualified from judging. Multiple teams per firm are fine.

*On Saturday, February 16, 2008, students and faculty from the School of Architecture at the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa, practicing members from the architecture community, and their families and friends will be contending for the title of Greatest Hawaiian Sandcastle 2008 as they design and build sand sculptures at beautiful Kailua Beach Park, home to some of the best kind of sand in the world for this kind of event. *This year’s theme is “If Architects Ruled the World…”. How would you represent that in a sand sculpture? How can you represent that in your banner and team spirit? The beach will be yours for the day!
