Piano Recital by Thomas Rosenkranz

UH faculty member Thomas Rosenkranz performs the modern masterpiece “De Profundis” for speaking pianist by Frederic Rzewski with a text by Oscar Wilde, reciting tales of prison life and redemption.
This program also includes Bach/Busoni’s Chaconne, Levante by the Argentinan-born composer, Osvaldo Golijov and Beethoven’s Piano Sonata op. 57 “Appassionata”.
