February 28, 8:30am - 12:30pmManoa Campus
The University of Hawaii Committee on Human Studies is presenting Spring 2008 Semester investigator workshops on human subjects research for researchers, staff, faculty and students:
• Wednesday, February 6, 8:30am-12:30pm Law School Classroom #1;
• Friday, February 8, 12:30pm-4:30pm Law School Classroom #1;
• Tuesday, February 12 8:30am-12:30pm Law School Classroom #3;
• Thursday, February 28 8:30am-12:30pm Law School Classroom #1
These are the same workshops; not a series. One does not need to sign up ahead of time; there is no cost. The workshop will provide a basic understanding of the ethics and principles of human subjects research and what is required of investigators at UH. This will also meet the UH and NIH requirement for human subjects research training. For further information, call Bill Dendle 956-8287.
