Speaker Dr. Jess Ghannam of the Palestinian Right to Return Organization Al-Awda will present “Orientalizing Palestine and the Arab World: Narratives of Self-Determination, Freedom and Internal De-Colonization.” This English Department Colloquium is one of many events from Feb. 26 - March 14 that are part of the 2008 Hawai'i Symposium on Palestine entitled "WHO ARE THE PALESTINIANS? UNDERSTANDING THE NAKBA." All events are free, so come learn more about Palestine and the Palestinian - Israeli Conflict by attending a workshop, lecture, panel or film! Peace in the Middle East...
