Oceans in Space
March 14, 7:00pm - 8:00pmWindward Campus, Hale Hokulani (Imaginarium)
Oceans in Space is a unique Imaginarium show which takes audiences on a voyage beneath the oceans of earth and beyond to the shores of alien worlds.
The story begins five billion years ago as it traces the origin of the solar system and the creation of our watery planet.
You’ll dive down in spaceship-like submersibles into the deepest trenches of the abyss, where you’ll discover exotic life forms and navigate the smoke stacks of underwater volcanic vents. Your voyage continues to other oceans in space, as you embark on a journey to the ancient seas of Mars and plunge into the ocean depths of Jupiter’s icy moon Europa.
You’ll finally join the oceanographers of tomorrow on a quest to the shorelines of distant worlds.
Narrated by Avery Brooks (Captain Sisko of TV’s Star Trek: Deep Space Nine).
