We would like to invite you to powerpoint presentations of the students of Ilokano 402, Spring 2008 of UH Manoa. These presentations attempt to describe, explain and analyze various aspects of Ilokano culture which may be used to distinguish Ilokanos as an ethnolinguistic group in the Philippines. The materials used in the presentations are from the research of respected Ilokano scholar and writer Isabelo de los Reyes and re-interpreted from his two volume book, El Folklore Filipino (Manila: 1889 and 1890). These presentations are for students and scholars of Ilokano language and culture.
