Key Ingredients - America by Food Exhibit

Kapi‘olani Community College will host the Key Ingredients: America By Food Exhibition at the College’s Lama Library on the Diamond Head Campus in Honolulu beginning June 28, 2008, and continuing through August 22,2008. The exhibition is sponsored by the Smithsonian Institution and the Hawai‘i Council for the Humanities.

Kapi‘olani Community College is one of four locations on three Hawaiian Islands but has the distinct honor of being the first site to introduce the exhibition to the state. “We are very pleased to be able to host Key Ingredients on our campus. We hope that the exhibit will inspire both the campus and the wider community to think more about the rich and varied food ways of our communities,” said Louise Pagotto, Interim Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs.

Hours are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Saturday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, and Sunday from 12 noon to 4:00 pm. Closed Holidays.
