Mary Bitterman
President, Bernard Osher Foundation; Lead Director, Bank of Hawaii
Mary Bitterman is the President of The Bernard Osher Foundation, a private foundation headquartered in San Francisco that supports higher education and the arts, as well as Lead Independent Director of the Bank of Hawaii and Board Chair of the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS). Her present Board commitments also include Barclays Global Investors, Bay Area Economic Forum, Commonwealth Club of California, and the Stanford Institute for Economic Policy Research.
Mary is a frequent speaker on Sarbanes-Oxley legislation and on corporate governance issues in general.
