Field School

The 17th annual University of Hawai‘i Preservation Field School will be held in Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park on the big island of Hawai’i. Working closely with Park Service historians and cultural resource managers, students will be introduced to techniques for documenting historic sites and cultural landscapes within the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The project is field intensive, but includes lectures and demonstrations, from leading experts in the field of historic preservation.
