Enter Laughing
September 17, 11:30am - 12:45pmManoa Campus, Kuykendall 106
One of the most important aspects of comedy - its great saving grace - is its ambiguity.
You can simultaneously laugh at a situation, and take it seriously.
Each panel will feature different faculty who will:
-discuss successes and failures of humor in the context of teaching and learning
-share their experiences within the particular cultural contexts of their classrooms that involved humor (intentional or not)
-explain how their humor was perceived by the students
-interact with the audience on the subject of teaching with laughter
