Confucius Institute at the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa
Lectures on Chinese Philosophy and Culture
In anticipation of the Mayor’s Proclamation of September 28, 2008, as “Confucius Day” in the City and County of Honolulu, the Confucius Institute at the University of Hawaii (CI-UHM) has invited UHM Emeritus Professor Lo Chin-tang to give a series of three lectures on Daoism, Confucianism, and Buddhism. The free lectures will be given in Chinese, with English interpretation, and will take place in the Center for Korean Studies Auditorium starting at 4:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend!

September 19, “Laozi and Daoism”
October 3, “Confucianism”
October 10, “Buddhism”
