An Evening with R. Zamora Linmark

R. Zamora Linmark, the author of the internationally acclaimed, Kalihi-based novel Rolling The R's, is returning to Hawai`i for the world premiere of his dramatic adaptation of the novel to be performed at Kumu Kahua Theatre from Oct. 30 through Nov. 29, 2008. He will be reading from his poetry collections and the evening will also include performances of scenes from the play.
Tonight's performances highlight October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month and also Filipino American History Month. Sponsors include the American Studies Department, Center for Biographical Research, Center for Philippine Studies, English Department, Filipino & Philippine Literature Program, Kumu Kahua Theatre, LGBTI Student Services, Theatre & Dance Department, Women's Studies Department.
