2007 Pulitzer Prize winner Shai Oster of the Wall Street Journal Beijing Office will talk about the ways the Beijing Olympics have changed China in "The Legacy of the 2008 Olympics." Mr. Oster, who covers the environment and energy for the WSJ, is also the recipient of the George Polk Award for articles on the Three Gorges Dam, the Asia Society's Osborne Elliott Award for Excellence in Journalism on Asia, and the Dow Jones Newswires Award for Journalistic Excellence. A reception follows the talk. It is co-sponsored by the School of Communications and the CIBER Program, and enjoys support from DBEDT, the East-West Center, the Pacific and Asian Affairs Council, and UHM's Office of International and Exchange Programs. The talk is free and open to the public
