EARs in the Sea: Listening to shrimp, fish and whales to learn about their world
November 12, 6:00pm - 7:00pmOutrigger Waikiki, Kalakaua Room
Dr. Marc Lammers will present this lecture as part of the "Hawaii's Dynamic Ocean Lecture Series" (sponsored by the Hawaii Ocean Observing System and Outrigger Hotels). Sounds are an important part of the marine environment. Listening to the sounds produced by many species of fish, mammals and invertebrates can tell us much about what is happening in their world. Join us on an acoustic journey of snaps, crackles and pops and find out what they are telling us about life in the ocean.
