Music from China: Xiamen University Arts Faculty
January 30, 8:00pm - 9:30pmManoa Campus, EWC Imin Center-Jefferson Hall (opposite Kennedy Theatre)
A diverse program featuring the Arts Faculty from Xiamen University, China. They perform traditional and contemporary works for voice, erhu, hulusi, shougu, xiao, xun, yangqin, zheng, and piano. Hawai'i is their first stop on a U.S. performance tour. They will also appear at BYU-Hawai'i.
The Xiamen University Arts Faculty residency is supported in part by the Freeman Foundation Undergraduate Asian Studies Initiative of the Asian Studies Program (SPAS).
