2009 Small Business Regulations Training

The University of Hawai'i Procurement Institute with the UH Law SChool is proud to present the 2009 Small Business Preference Regulations Training on two days, March 20, 2009 from 8am to 430pm and April 2, 2009, from 8am to 4pm. Both workshops will be held at the UH Law School Moot Courtroom.

The event is sponsored by the State of Hawaii Department of Accounting and General Services, Department of Transportation and Department of Business, Economic Development & Tourism.

The Small Business Preference Regulations Training Course is designed to provide targeted training to procurement policy management professionals and contracting officers about the use and scope of the small business preference rules and regulations. Participants will train interactively by engaging in question and answer exercises, applying knowledge in groupdirected case study workshops, and preparing written casestudy solutions relating to small business setasides and small business utilization (subcontracting) plans.

The Hawai'i Procurement Institute is led by UH Law Professor Danielle Conway-Jones.
