Rock the Boat...is a concert event that serves as a space for consciousness-raising, networking, education, entertainment and fun!

The purpose of this concert is to frame our positions politically, to recognize our varied social locations, and to build connections to better work towards social change and solidarity ... while shaking our groove thangs.

Come down and enjoy good energy, people, tastes and sounds!!

Featuring:
Spoken Word poets and speakers, including-Kehaulani Watson, Lyz Soto, Gigi Miranda, Darron Cambra, Brenda Kwon, TravisT, Cawa Tran

The lovely musical stylings of DJ AZIA1, Badenyaa and SewaFare- West African Dance & Drum and Mahalohalo Kulintang/Southern Philippines Music and Dance Ensemble

Representatives and educational information from- MANA, Hawai`i ACLU, NAACP, AFSC-Hawai`i, DVAC (Domestic Violence Action Center), Gender Equity Center-UH, The Environmental Center, Revolution Books, Wold Can't Wait, 3rd Path Movement for Reproductive Justice, GiRL FeST! and much more.
