A Sakamaki Extraordinary Lecture. Native Hawaiians have a tradition of caring for the land and the people of these islands. Faced with environmental, economic, and cultural challenges, leaders in the Hawaiian community engaged in the development of clean energy, scholars of cultural and resource management, and state policy makers come together to discuss policies and actions to ensure a sustainable energy future for Hawai'i.
Funded in part by the Shunzo Sakamaki Extraordinary Lecture Endowment at the University of Hawai'i Foundation and the Hawai'i Energy Policy Forum's Koaniani Fund at the Hawai'i community Foundation.
