Kepano Kekuewa of Apple will be presenting Mac101 which will cover navigating the OS X interface; using the Finder; System Preferences (including how to support the Hawaiian language); customizing the Dock; searching with Spotlight; backups with Time Machine; setting up wireless; browsing with Safari; setting up Mail; setting up iCal.
The intended audience is for people new to the Mac environment or OS X 10.6 "Snow Leopard" but is open to anyone. Visit http://www.hawaii.edu/training for online registration. Login with your UH username and password to register. A valid UH username is required to register.
