Attend this informational meeting to find out about the Spring 2011 Semester in Seville, Spain Study Abroad Program and meet Resident Director Aránzazu Ascunce, UHM Spanish Division. Students earn UHM credits for coursework taught in English and Spanish at the International College of Seville and the University of Seville. Course offerings include Academy for Creative Media, American Studies, Anthropology, Art, Business, Economics, Finance, History, Languages and Literatures of Europe and the Americas, Latin American and Iberian Studies, Political Science, Religion, and Spanish. Professor Ascunce will teach LAIS 360: Studies in Culture-Spain and Portugal, LAIS 362: Politics, Poetry and Painting in 20th Century Spain, and SPANISH 351: Spanish Cultural Perspectives. Scholarships and financial aid are available for eligible students. The study abroad application deadline is October 15. Applications are available at www.studyabroad.org.
