HonCC 2012 Great Aloha Run (Club Code #47)

Sign-Up Early to be one of the first 120 to get a FREE HCC Great Aloha Run t-shirt sponsored by Chancellor Rota to wear on the day of the race! The GREAT ALOHA RUN (GAR) is on February 20, 2012 (Presidents' Day holiday) at 7am and is an 8.15 mile course that runs from Aloha Tower to Aloha Stadium.
TWO WAYS to support this worthwhile event that benefits many local charities are by paying the $35 registration fee for YOURSELF -OR- for SPONSORING one of the many interested students we have waitlisted who would love to be a part of the HCC GAR team!
Early register ONLINE or ON-CAMPUS by NOV. 18 and you will get up to 3 t-shirts (a GAR In-training shirt & planner for 1st 5000 entries, our own in-house designed HCC GAR t-shirt, and when you complete the race a GAR Finisher shirt). In addition, you’ll also be eligible to participate in weekly GAR In Training Workshops at Kapi`olani Park that will help prepare you for the race and our Post-Race GAR picnic.
HAVE FUN WHILE GETTING HEALTHY! We need at least 100 walkers/runners to be a part of our GAR Presidents 100 Club and invite all administrators, faculty, staff, retirees, students, alumni, friends, and extended family to join us. Training workshops available both on and off-campus to help you condition and prepare for the event. Check out our Health Office website at http://honolulu.hawaii.edu/health for walking maps and info to help you get started. On race day, walk or run at your own pace or join other HCC ohana on the course (they’ll be easy to find wearing our special t-shirt!).
Applications available at the Business Office, Health Office, Library, Native Hawn Center, and Student Life & Development. Participants submit applications & payment- and- Sponsors submit their tax-deductible payment to the HCC Health Office by Nov. 18 and we will take care of everything else! To register on-line, go to www.greataloharun.com (Club Code is #47) and notify the HCC Health Office to be put on the HCC Great Aloha Run 2012 Presidents' 100 Club #47 Team List and for HCC t-shirt.
Registrations made after the GAR Early Entry Deadline of December 2 are not guaranteed a HCC t-shirt nor GAR In Training t-shirt.
