Invasive Algae Clean Up

Help remove invasive algae as part of a coastal restoration project with Dr. Celia Smith- UH Botany, NOAA and the Hawaii Community Foundation. Tasks include the removal and unloading of algae, sorting invasive and native limu, and calculating algae removed.

Attire: Dress to get wet—reef shoes are recommended, snorkel and mask are optional. All other supplies will be provided.

Volunteers are asked to arrive at 8:45am to check-in.
