Turmoils, Dinners and Muslims: A Mini-Conference on the Philippine South

This mini-conference is a 3-in-1 presentation on selected historical and contemporary events in the Visayas and Mindanao.

The speakers are: Dr. Resil Mojares (Andrews Chair Visiting Professor at UHM Philippine Studies and Professor Emeritus, University of San Carlos), "THE DINNER OF THE PRINCIPALES: WHO'S WHO IN PRE-REVOLUTIONARY CEBU"; Dr. Michael Cullinane (Lecturer & Associate Director, Center for Southeast Asian Studies, University of Wisconsin-Madison), "ANG KAGUBOT SA SUGBU (The Turmoil in Sugbo): WHO REVOLTED IN CEBU IN 1898;" and Mr. Wilfredo Magno Torres III (Program Officer, The Asian Foundation, Manila), "CLAN FEUD AND CONFLICT MANAGEMENT IN MUSLIM MINDANAO."
