Mealani's A Taste of the Hawaiian Range

Now in its 17th year, the Taste extravaganza offers a delicious array of locally produced fresh foods. Over 30 of Hawai'i chefs prepare culinary "tastes" using 100-percent grass-fed beef, pork, lamb, goat, mutton and wild boar—plus a bounty of fresh Island fruits and vegetables.

Attendees graze at culinary stations while visiting vendor booths to meet the farmers and ranchers who grow our food. For an added bonus and only $10 extra, you can attend the "Grass Fed Beef Cooking 101" Demo at 3 p.m., where you'll learn how to use and prepare 100-percent pasture-raised beef. This year’s guest presenter is James Babian, executive chef at Four Seasons Resort Hualalai. The presentation includes sampling.
