Walk Bike Drive

September 27, 3:30pm - 4:30pm
Mānoa Campus, Campus Center 203E

Free 1-hour course designed to teach you how to avoid crashes and make our roads safer for everyone. In Hawaii in 2009, 113 people died in traffic collisions - 3 bicyclists, 26 pedestrians, and 84 motorists. You have the power to lower these statistics!

This class will cover traffic safety from the vantage point of pedestrians, bicyclists, and motorists. It will provide tips on how to get you safely across the street as a pedestrian, the safest way to ride on two wheels, and how to keep others safe when operating a motor vehicle.

The class is taught by a League of American Bicyclists certified instructor. This class is provided by Hawaii Bicycling League and Cycle Manoa through a grant from the Hawaii Department of Transportation.
