Youth Leadership School

September 29, 2012 - September 30, 2012
Mānoa Campus, Hemenway Hall room #204

This weekend the Leadership Institute is going to be hosting their Youth Leadership School on the UH Manoa campus. The YLS is a comprehensive, two-day training which teaches students to be more effective activists on campus and in their community. Upon completion of the school, you will have access to our free Employment Placement Services department, which helps you find full-time paid internships as well as jobs in the political movement.

In the two-day training, attendees will learn to:

- Organize large numbers of volunteers and voters for libertarian and conservative candidates and causes

- Increase the size and effectiveness of campus groups

- Host speaker events

- Develop eye-catching signs and literature to attract others to their cause

- Gain media coverage for campus activism events

- Learn more than 12 special grassroots projects they can implement immediately

The Youth Leadership School will be held in room 204 of Hemenway Hall, Saturday from 8am till 8pm, and Sunday from 8am till 3pm.

Registration for the YLS is usually $30.00 per student. But to introduce Hawaiian students to the Leadership Institute and our programs, I can offer this program at no charge. This includes training, course materials, and meals.
